A. The first thing that anyone should do before starting a workout routine is consult their doctor.

Q. How often per week should I workout in order to see results?
A. To get optimal results one should work out at least 3 to 4 times a week.

Q. How can I monitor my progress as I workout?
A. Everyone should invest in a heart rate monitor, to keep up with your heart rate and to stay within your target zone. Also write down what you plan to do in you workout an what you actually did. So that you will have a log of you achievements in your work out schedule.

Q. How can I get motivation to workout?
A. Some people will have to seek others for support with the same goal, you as an indiviual must understand the value of physical exercise in order to stay motivated to workout.

Q. How can I tell that I am making any progress in my workout?
A. Early on you will find that the scale doesn't move much, this can lead to discouragement, but don't despair, the scale will short change you of your progress.....instead determine your progress from the clothe that you wear... that will measure your progress better than the scale.

Q. What would be your advise for the novice in working out.
A. Find some type of physical routine that would includes a wide varity. That should cover cadio vascular, strength training, and flexability. The varity in your workout will help with boredom, and plateu....Remember LISTEN TO YOUR BODY, to prevent injury.....
