Let's just be honest. Staying in shape is hard work. There is no sense in arguing with the fact. It takes a lot of effort to work out and stay committed to it. It is so much easier to allow laziness to whisk us away like Calgon. How simple life would be then? Well if that's what you want from life then so be it. But if you are like me, I've never done anything easy. With that said I am not such a die heart that I can go months without working out. Even though I am a certified trainer. I do understand the rewards of working out, so that's why I'm at it again. My birthday is coming up and I wanna get this smoke train back to moving. I can always tell when it has gotten serious with my body. My tell-tell sign is when my body starts to ache and pain. Yep, that might sound weird but it's true. When I'm waking up with pain, or my knee starts hurting, or my back starts stiffing up or cracking when I move. I know the time has come to start Movin My Azz-etts. I start a little bit at a time. I haven't worked out in over a year. So right now I'm starting with 10 minutes of yoga. Then I do 7 minutes of a workout 3 times a week. My goal is to get up to 30 minutes a day or at least 4 times a week. I want to start running again by the end of September....Woohoo for me.
